Algorithms on Ideals over Complex Multiplication order
Abstract: In 2002 Gentry and Szydlo invented an algorithm on cyclotomic rings to break an NTRU signature scheme. Since then, it has found other applications in cryptography and algebraic number theory. We will present a simplification of this algorithm, which can be generalized to all number fields. The applications can also be extended to complex multiplication fields, and they allow to reduce many problems on the fields to its real subfield, where they can be solved much more quickly.
