PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPT 
-------------------------

Prepare the manuscript with LaTeX using the style file kapproc.sty which
is available through the ISMM'98 home page. 

IMPORTANT: Do not make any changes to this file, 
           such as changing fonts or font size. 

IMPORTANT: Put the postscript-files used in the manuscript in the same
           directory as the tex-file.

Authors which are not able to use LaTeX should ask a colleague or a good
friend.  If everything else fails, please contact Jos Roerdink (email:
roe@cs.rug.nl) to get further instructions. Papers have to be limited to
8 pages including artwork and references. Please note that colour
artwork cannot be accepted. Those authors that have included colour
pictures in their submitted paper are kindly requested to replace them
by high-quality grey-scale pictures.

IMPORTANT: Final papers are due at February 15, 1998.     
           Please note that papers which are too long or which arrive
           too late will not be included in the proceedings.




SUBMISSION
----------

step 1:  Send a hardcopy of your paper to the ISMM'98 secretariat 
         (air mail).

step 2:  Save your dvi-file as NUMBER.dvi (where NUMBER is the number of
         your submission, e.g. 23.dvi; see letter of acceptance).

step 3:  Prepare (e.g. using dvips) a postscript file NUMBER.ps 
         of your paper (including all pictures). This copy has to be
         identical to the one sent by air mail (step 1).

step 4:  Anonymous ftp to ftp.cwi.nl
         (Name: ftp   -   Password: your email address)

step 5:  cd pub/morphology/ismm98/NUMBER (don't forget NUMBER)

step 6:  binary (Use binary mode to transfer files)

step 7:  put NUMBER.dvi
         put NUMBER.ps
         put FIGURE_1.ps .... put FIGURE_n.ps
            (FIGURE_1.ps .... FIGURE_n.ps are the ps-files used in your
            document; you can use any name you want.)

step 8:  bye

step 9:  Send an email to henkh@cwi.nl with message header: 
         NUMBER submitted

step 10: You will receive an acknowledgment of receipt if everything is OK.
